Crushed Oyster Shells

High in calcium, oyster shell is an important component of a laying hen’s diet!
In just a single year, a hen will put twenty times the amount of calcium into her eggs that is found in her own bones. If you have chickens that lay frequently, as in everyday or every other day, they will need even more oyster shell than those that lay just a couple of times per week.
